Lovely render English Bob plaids and stripes are always difficult because as soon as you pose the figure it affects the mapping. In DS I would fix that by adding some smoothing and I wonder whether in Poser if you were to change the figure to unimesh(if it isn't already) and use the dials that gives in parameters whether it would help at all?

That said it looks quite good considering it's a difficult pattern when working with meshes.

Looks GREAT to me! :)

Thanks Lyne! I guess it's the artist's lot to be continually dissatisfied with their own work. :)

Thanks, and you're right about the posing I think. The mapping of the basic geometry looks fine. This is why I avoid conforming skirts most of the time. :) I'll have to try the unimesh trick - that isn't a feature I've used very much, mainly when I wanted to subdivide.

Not sure how well it will work but it strikes me as doing something similar to smoothing so it's worth a try and see if it does have an impact.

So this would have been better if I had set the caustic settings higher but not bad as is. P11 Pro Superfly render using HDRI/IBL lighting and also incorporating the lighting/background/cast light with a Cycles Environment Texture using an HDRI. LOL, this is basically me trying to learn more about the wicked awesome capabilities of P11/Superfly, which this is really a poor example but it makes me happy anyway:)
