While in college, one of my part time jobs was a TV/Radio/Stereo repair shop. I had the artists touch to adjust head tracking on those decks. I had one in my car and I put in four speakers, two front under dash (ugly installation)- two on read window deck (neater installation with actual speaker grills). I was ahead of my time as a rolling boom box!
(Remember 4-channel stereo, turntables? A radio station (Charlotte NC) actually actually broadcast on two frequencies with front channels on one station and rear on another. And they miked the DJ with 4 microphones... he'd sit in his chair and spin around while talking. Talk about a dizzying affect! They didn't do it for very long. Ridiculous concept from the start.)
