You can find HiveWire 3D and Lisa's Botanicals products, as well as many of our Contributing Artists, at Renderosity. This thread lists where many are now selling their products. Renderosity is generously putting products which were purchased at HiveWire 3D and are now sold at their store into customer accounts by gifting them. This is not an overnight process so please be patient, if you have already emailed them about this. For me, it was Dawn the Original. The minute she landed in my runtime, I was sold. Lock, stock, and barrel. She just worked.

That's true, I was like a little boy with a new toy when Dawn first came out. When I made Type-13, I was still figuring out new things to do with Dawn, and that was 7 years later.

Trouble with all the sales at this time of year is that you can end up with a lot of content that needs trying out to see how it might fit into any story line. Not that I am complaining in many ways it is a nice problem to have.

This is something I enjoy doing. Mixing, matching and combining.
Rendered in Poser 11, simple firefly.

Showing Dawn as Willow with Sora mats. Wearing PinkLove summer shirt with my free textures and the NouvelleAube Tights also with my free textures. A couple of workboots and TuneIn Hair for wich I have a fit.
The LilGnome is a Xmas freebie at Daz but it comes with it's own OBJ so I imported it and gave it some of my own textures.
Willow's pose is one of my own that I adjusted, background is Poser's own and the lighting is from Fabiana.
I love it when I can do a little bit of this, take a bit of that, switch from here to there.

To tell the truth Hornet, I didn't even notice it the first time around. ;) The fancy font probably helped hide it somewhat.

Most years I get together a selection of renders I have created over the last six months and then add to them with the aim of creating a photo book and having it printed. This year is no different with the exception that I am starting a little earlier due to the fact I managed to pick up a voucher for a 90 page A4 sized lay flat photobook printed on photographic quality paper for a little over £50. The voucher is valid for three months so I have a little while to come up with the close to 90 renders.

Each year I try to include the changes I have made in that year so I can look back and see how I have faired. So with the book in mind I have made a few changes with my character. The skin shader is now based on a Physical Surface root as shown earlier on in this thread and I have adopted few other changes such as hair style. So this is where I am at present.

On To 2021 HW.jpg

Hair colour is from the relevant 'Touchable' shaders by -Wolfie-.

With that decided I now need to start using all the props and scenes I have picked up in recent sales.

That kind of thing has been around a while. Admittedly, I'm more used to seeing them for V4.

Now I don't think I've ever seen eyelashes like that before. ;)

They are from the CPS-DeLashesBundle by CreekyPointStudios, not the sort of thing I normally go for but they were half price and I also used a voucher I had earned. The bundle includes loads of short and long lashes and a few utilities for turning parts off so the fantasy type are only a small part of the bundle.
