Aw, the old Morphing Python with a texture pack. There are some nice ones for him. But yeah, he's old and it sometimes shows.

Sickleyield brought out a lovely boa constrictor with some very fine textures, but it's got more bones than a real one! Would really be an effort to pose. (Dinoraul on Rendo has a titanaboa which is a very nice model. I've used it a few times when I needed a snake for the Tarot deck.

Well, I'll take it back about the number of bones in Sickleyield's constrictor (called "The Constrictor"). I think the verse goes:
"The python has, and I fib no fibs
318 pairs of ribs."

Sickleyield's has something like 230-something bones. Which would still be more than enough to make it a nightmare to pose. But it's beautiful. Dinoraul's isn't *quite* that much of a hassle, but it only has the one texture it comes with, and it's a prehistoric version and needs to be scaled way down to pass for a modern snake. Sickleyield's has at least four other morphs and/or texture sets.

Sickle has most likely used an easy pose method of rigging...I know she has some tutorials on how to do it in DS.

I scoped both of them out (lol) which leaves me wondering if this green tree python texture would work on the constrictor as I really love the color with the flower set I'm currently working on for a jungle feel. I could probably try a vector selection and remove the anchor points to get a fluid look to him in Photoshop.

I wish Kitty was finished! He would be my first choice of jungle animal and then Kong. Soon though soon! (sigh)

No, the morphing python colors won't work. I tried and they just do not work at all.
