Yeah, I can't image how long it takes to do such high quality kitty textures. I wouldn't even know where to begin. But hey, it's summer, so there are more hours in the day right. . . ? I mean it's not like you can use a computer when it's dark outside.

Actually the hardest part of all this at least for me has been getting a good spec and normal map set up and done- the different coats/diffuse maps are actually the "fun" part of making all these
Basically that's where I am on the Deer/Thistle/Bighorn Sheep because they will share a spec and normal map, and while I've got a decent start on them, yeah they take a while! Attempting to sort out the best way to do a more furry coat, sans Poser Hair Room or LAMH, has a been a real challenge for me this past year, starting with the big cat.
