That has been scientifically proven as an evolutionary thing.
Here are a few Mega Tuskers from India and Sri Lanka
@CWRW. I think you could make this into an incredible texture map for Ellie.
WOW, he looks like he's growing moss all over his body. Talk about nature providing itself with ways to hide from predators.
I really would love to see this made into a texture. I have so many renders planned for the HW elephant model.
I wonder if you could get a similar look with LAMH, would look awesome backlit if you could.
That may be the beast way to do that. I would be totally up for that if it is made.
I meant to say best, lol stupid phone.
Please tell me Eli's trunk is going to be easy and flexible enough to pose like this...
(really only posing for the "awwww" factor LOL)
I thought the elephant was done, but for rigging?
Awwwww, definitely adorable.
Wow!! That is very cool! Not sure yet exactly how I would approach it but yeah def. going on my "muse list" Yeah I'm itching to get my paws on our Eli too I have a lot of fun ideas for him I want to try, and am adding this to my list.
This is fascinating & very educational!
Wow!!!! I am watching this movie right this moment, (VERY worthwhile! and I really want to do something like this for Eli somehow
I really would love to see the texture made for Eli. I have so many ideas for it.
This is where they would be, so apparently no.
I believe in another thread it was stated that the mule deer buck was next on the list. I have not heard much lately about the elephant.
Yeah, unfortunately we're behind the eight ball on several projects. The problem is that I can model, shape and morph the animals, hair or whatever in a much quicker time frame than the rigging. Add to that the converting to Poser and Studio, and then there is the map work and imagery to be done.
I've lost track of Eli actually. I believe Chuck had the rigging for Poser done looooong ago, but it got hung up with converting to Studio.
