Linda B

Extraordinary
I finally remembered, found a freebie I needed (although there is a nice firehose here at HW) and setting up scene now.

This guy is incredible, for being 16 years old.
This was the only Christmas song that I could find on YouTube by him, Blue Christmas:

Hey Terre :) Yeah, I like to find something for everybody, including folks' kids and grandkids :) The camel song apparently is being used in church puppet ministries...very cute idea.

Hey Linda....well, that's my continual state I think :) Just shows what can be done with a little imagination....and even more dangerous is a big imagination

Did I ever mention that I re-wrote the lyrics to Billie Jean for the Woman at the Well.....and Jailhouse Rock for Paul and Silas in jail? Yep....haha.

Here you go Linda....haha....the first two videos below have some background vocals so you won't get lost....the third is just the instrumental.

WOMAN AT THE WELL - "CAN'T YA SEE"
(tune of Michael Jackson's BILLIE JEAN – count 8 ooo’s, begin vocal)

The sun was hot that day, made my way to the well....
Like every other day...I was the on—ly one....
With a past...with my jug....outside of town....
I was....all a—lone
Took a chance...with my jug....I was bound.

Met a man who asked to drink...what to think
He knew my name, and my game...but he did not wink
So with a glance....filled my jug....for a round.

People always told me...be careful what you do
Don't go 'round breaking young men's hearts
Now he's tryin' to tell me....be careful who I love
And if I'm really thirsty...He's got the kind I'm lookin' for....

Hey, hey hey.....
Can't your see....that I love ya
Don't ya know...I am the on—ly one
The one and only Son.

The sun was hot that day...he made his way to the well
Like any other day....now I have met the Son
Hope at last....put my jug...on the ground

All my wrongs were made right
And finally a friend for life (fin'lly right...fin'lly right)

The sun was hot that day...made my way from the well
Unlike the other days...I was not alone
So took a chance...left my jug...went to town

People let me tell you...be careful what you do
Don't go 'round breaking others' hearts
And...like he told me...be careful who you love
And if you're really thirsty...he's got the kind you're lookin' for

Hey, hey, hey
Can't you see...that he loves ya
Don't ya know...He is the on—ly one
The one and only Son.

(guitar – woooh ----- guitar woooh!)

….He said....I am the oe
The one and only Son

Can't you see...that I love ya
Don't ya know...I am the on—ly Son

...He said....I am the one
The one and on—ly Son.

--He said ...I am the one

…He said...I am the one

...He said...I am the one

Can't you see...that I love ya

Can't you see...that I love ya

Can't you see...that I love ya

I looked up this song in my email, since I sent it to a friend of mine the day I had a rough draft ready, and it was September 17, 2010....a little over nine years ago...posted it on the website for future reference.

Found a version on YouTube that has the original lyrics written more clearly, below, and a HQ version of the instrumental only.
