Hey Terre I expected a real challenge when facing creating poses for the Poser tabby cat....but it was not that difficult....the rigging is pretty good. The biggest weak area is the texture of the face (and transparency setting of the eyes)....the body texture is well done. If someone would take the head texture back to the drawing board, it would be a nice little cat. As far as I can tell in my runtime archive, this cat was included in Poser 2012/Poser 9, and he may have been in Poser 8/PP2010. I checked Rendo, and he's not for sale there. He was the only furry critter that had no poses that worked, so that's why I started with him
I'm not sure if I should release the poses in individual sets, or wait and do a Poser oldie bundle....a bundle would probably be less effort for me, but would have to be uploaded to ShareCG because of file size. I think Ladyfox mentioned that she didn't have access to ShareCG, so if she's interested in having any of the animal poses, let me know, and I"ll upload the individual set here.
And yeah, the Genesis figures, time you add morph packs and HD textures....it's quite an expense, and load for animation and gaming. Truth is, if you don't have a huge investment in a multimedia computer, and then some financial return on the animations, it'll end up being just a very, very expensive hobby. That's why I try to cut corners where I can, and learn to do things with what I have, and stay within reasonable boundaries. One of the easiest ways to cut corners is to use very low rez figures...and they are certainly cheaper. Where there's room for improvement is better ways to do the textures.
