Night-scene by Carey posted Nov 8, 2017 at 4:30 PM
Moonlight is so beautiful, and hard to capture, great render!
Ever seen a night, clouds dancing in front of the moon and a good warm breeze is blowing, you look up at that moon and suddenly know how wonderful it is to be alive...Yea that is what I wanted, had to settle for this...lol thanks for the kind words...

I like the way it appears that one beam of light is shooting across and illuminating everything
This is my first super fly render, had to render it several times to get the lighting right and yes while I used two low light fill lights to keep it from going too dark, I used one spot light to light the scene to get some interesting contrasts. I used the GPU high setting and it took almost 10 hours to render....
Ground is (again, used a LOT) LisaB's Simmering Summer ground texture (HW)
on Flink's Ultimate Ground (Rendo) It's so easy to change the ground grass color
in Photoshop to suite the environment I'm creating!

@ Carey : Wonderful atmosphere---very romantic!
watched a bunch of those old desert movies and had to try to create that feeling of being on the desert, yes there is something about the desert that draws you in.... thanks for your comments
