That's just lovely. I really need to spend more time figuring out how to do non-photorealistic renders. I love the style, I think I just get frustrated when I run into things like what you mentioned with the Wolf, and I don't know other ways around it.

For some of the images I do, as with this last one, I run through a few steps in Photoshop. One is using Layers with just gradients on them to create Vignette and solarization effects by manipulating their opacity and blend mode.
Looks very Vintage. Especially the colors! I could see this in a Victorian Children's book.
You should do it! love your children/fairy renders.
