The fur on this and on the renders you linked looks wonderfully natural and flowing. But I hear Garibaldi is unsupported now, it that true? I'm trying to figure out which program to invest my time in...

Well.... LOL speaking of the HW Lion- here is my WIP on him- this is using the Poser Hair Room- am going to attempt the same thing in LAMH (I do say attempt... we'll see!) I still need to do the tail and elbow tufts and belly fur and the diffuse map still needs lots of work and tweaks. This is Firefly- not sure if I can make this work in Superfly yet. (also this is using the base Big Cat, not the lion morph- I just did quickly what I could to make base Big Cat look more lion-ish

Beautiful!! What IS the hair in the Poser hair room? Fibermesh? Can the hair be imported into DS if you make it in Poser?
I don't think so- am going to try to do a LAMH preset for it for DS.

BTW those actual man eating lions are stuffed and in the Chicago Museum. If you have not seen them ......... they say the eyes tend to follow you when you move around the room.
