Beautiful work Luannemarie...are you using DS Iray? If so I was wondering what settings you're using for Harry?

Rae, I hope it all gets sorted out soon and you're on the mend soon...

Loving what I'm seeing here. The images are great. Lyne's blanket work is so cool. I just want to keep looking at the walk cycle animations.

Awesome and fun.

Pendraia, yes I render in IRay. I use the factory settings except that I change the "minimum samples" to 20, the "maximum samples" to 6400, the "quality" to 2, the percentage to 99%, and the rendering time to 28,800 (8 hours) and I then let it render overnight. I played around with Iray a lot when it first came out and found this works best for me. Obviously, I then use photoshop for a LOT of tweeking! The mane on my first pic here was the Mane and Tail add on pack from Hivewire which are for photoshop.

Thanks everyone for making me feel soooo welcome. Truly a wonderful site. Glad I found you'all.

Lyne - love the blanket & image with it.

Rae - hope they can sort out the hernia. I've never had one but several family members have had a number of them. {{HUGS}}

Thanks everyone for making me feel soooo welcome. Truly a wonderful site. Glad I found you'all.

We Studio users envy your dynamic cloth.

We seem to have a new paradigm showing up in the DAZ store of clothing which comes with all kinds of morphs which seem to have been saved out from dynamic simulations (possibly from Marvelous Designer), but they are always tied to specific pose sets. Aave Nainen pioneered this back in Genesis 1 era, but a couple of others seem to be taking it up.

Yep. Aave Nainen has been doing it for a while, but that is exactly why I do not buy any of that vendor's clothing. The morphs are all restricted to specific poses, and there are basically no actual function morphs in the clothing = I do not buy the product because I do all of my own posing.

But I definitely have to echo your sentiments on the dynamics thing. I really wish Daz would get away from Optitex. I'd love to see proper dynamics in DS, that vendors etc could actually partake in creating for without having to sell their first-born child to Optitex first.

Thanks everyone for making me feel soooo welcome. Truly a wonderful site. Glad I found you'all.

Luanne Marie, those are all absolutely gorgeous renders! Just beautifully done. You should try submitting some of it to the monthly Hivewire galleries... you have a really pretty style! And welcome to the site, too. :)

@Lyne I really like the cloth/drape work you're doing with those blankets. They look nice on Harry!

@CWRW Laurie, I keep staring at that image of yours with the four white horses... LOL. I keep going back and just oggling it! :D It's gorgeous!

Thank you all.

Seliah, I did enter them in the monthly Hivewire galleries. I am not sure how it all works, but they are entered, along with a few of my other pieces.
