Thanks everyone... I thought I'd share some of the geometry/joint parameter refinements and my start in morphs on the Lizard project...

The first image shows some of the morphs I've added (I'm starting to think I might be able to get a gecko species out of the model)...

...and the second image is my Fence Lizard (with some of the species morphs in place)

Really excited about this !! Lizards are so cute in a weird sort of way.
I found something rather interesting in my garden last year and took some photos of this lizard molting unfold. It was rather interesting, but I did not include the photo at the end where he eats the shed skin. **Yuck**

Looking good Ken. Looking forward to seeing a texture on this lizard in a promo. JanW

I'm still working on the UV map-- trying to figure out the best place to put the seams on the UV pelt (arms or belly separate)... but I decided to sew together so on the side-splotched lizard photo I have and see what the wip UVs look like. Note that there is no bump or displacement maps and the texture map isn't perfect (the side splotch should be a little higher and a little smaller)-- but it looks like things are coming along

He's looking really nice Ken!

I can't wait to carry him home! It will be a great addition to bird and flower type renders! Oh and I might finally get to use that Poser fly model!

I have to agree, considering he doesn't have bump maps yet, he's looking pretty good to me. ;)
