That didn't translate well - sounds like I'm not looking at things. I have several eye conditions/problems, which is what she's referring to.
Alisa, I had read that as your eyes are getting a bit old and worn out, (like the rest of us), and giving problems not that your not looking

Of course she didn't mean it badly . I DEFINITELY would like new eyes....
I would gladly trade my poor vision for poor hearing. I love good music and movies but with today tech it's pretty much figured out. Eyes on the other hand... glasses, contacts, expensive lasic surgery.... I hate my vision being compromised. Dammit Jim, I'm an artist not a doctor!

LOL that just made my day
I started wearing glasses in my early 20s, but it turned out NOT for vision correct, but astigmatic correction. I didn't need vision correction lenses until I was 45 or 46.
My biggest problem was back in 2013 and 2014 when my Ophthalmologist sent me to a Retina Specialist, because I was having a problem focusing in my left eye. Turns out I had Retinal Vein Occlusion, and it took 6 treatments over the 2 years to clear it up enough for my vision to be pretty much back to normal, though I'd have to say about 90% and not 100%. Still it's much better, and I'm happy I was lucky enough to get through this. The Retina Specialist told me I was lucky, as a lot of his patients with the same affliction have the treatments for years.
Of course, at this stage of my life my distance vision is not as good as it used to be. I've always been far sighted, so only need glasses for reading. If I was still driving every day, I'd probably need distance glasses as well, but at this point, I don't see that ever being a necessity.

I'm short sighted so need glasses for both reading and driving plus in my 20's I had a car crash and the seam of the air bag got me right across my left eye. I need to go get my eyes checked again but that will have to wait till other stuff is sorted out.
