Nothing's really textured. It was done in Cycles, but finished the sugar bowl, creamer pitcher, and the tray. What do you think?

Teabag? TEABAG?! You don't use TEABAGS in a teapot like that! Oh no, you use Twinings Earl Grey or Lapsang Souchong loose tea. If you want something else a tea strainer with a little dish to sit in on would be nice.

Yes I, too, would like a teabag. ;) Nice going Earl. The set's looking good, even untextured.

Teehee :) But I still prefer and use loose tea when I use a teapot, after all, what is the point otherwise?

That looks great, Earl! I really like this a lot.

Ok, I withdraw my dissent...after all, I use Twinings Earl Grey teabags everyday

Could easily texture for loose tea inside the pot, Lorraine. But I gotta agree with Earl - I'd definitely love a tea bag as well. ;)

Just so you know, the tops on the teapot and sugar bowl are separate meshes and can be removed.:sneaky:

It's still missing something though. Maybe a teabag?
Yep...but I like the idea of the strainer as well. Teabags are a fairly recent invention. It would be nice to have the strainer for more historical renders...say twenties or thirties. Just saw your post I'm glad you're doing both.

Earl, I have lots of tea bags in my house here. I could take some photos for you of a few different ones if you need or want.

I have a tea ball myself.. and then another strainer that has handles that need to be squeezed to open/close the basket. I prefer the tea ball - I hate that second one! LOL. We have commercial tea bags also, but I admit that most of the tea I drink is for medicinal purposes, and as such it's usually my own harvested herbs so needs the tea ball to steep with...
