Nothing's really textured. It was done in Cycles, but finished the sugar bowl, creamer pitcher, and the tray. What do you think?

That looks great. That's the perfect tray to go with the tea set.

Just so you know, the tops on the teapot and sugar bowl are separate meshes and can be removed.

Could easily texture for loose tea inside the pot, Lorraine. But I gotta agree with Earl - I'd definitely love a tea bag as well.

Yep...but I like the idea of the strainer as well. Teabags are a fairly recent invention. It would be nice to have the strainer for more historical renders...say twenties or thirties. Earl, I have lots of tea bags in my house here. I could take some photos for you of a few different ones if you need or want.
I have a tea ball myself.. and then another strainer that has handles that need to be squeezed to open/close the basket. I prefer the tea ball - I hate that second one! LOL. We have commercial tea bags also, but I admit that most of the tea I drink is for medicinal purposes, and as such it's usually my own harvested herbs so needs the tea ball to steep with...
