Well well, I see @RAMWolff and @Dakorillon (IMArts) got my joke .. :inlove:
that's all you should do ... just smile !

but nice to see your replies , thank you for letting me know you are still humans !

@Alisa since when you become a woman of few words ? :sneaky::love:

@Miss B you should get a Nobel Peace Prize for all the years in the community .. I mean it !

@DanaTA I know you not from today , you are a gentle bear, but life is too short to be always so serious . A man of few words in a forum is like a blind man attending Art painting classes  .. and no I do not attack you, you know I like you , just the opposite , you can't have a conversation if only you talking .
and please do not analyze it .. just take it with a grain of salt and just smile

That why I love about Miss B and others, take her time to say something, that what forums are about , to talk !
and "like" killed the forums .. lol
but still a nicer and easier option to express shadiness without personal exposure on topic ..

  1. "Like" I just give you a note that I saw that but was not really impressed to take my time and say something or change it to something else but we still friends.
  2. "Eye Hearts" I really loved what you did here , well done but I have to run , I guess that would compensate the time for typing .
  3. "Laughing Face" Finally I can lough in the office and nobody noticed , it is like sleeping with an open eyes .. but did it really made me smile ? I "smiled" because everyone did and I don't want to be the dummy here , they may thinking I did not got the joke..
  4. "WOW" now I am very impressed with that , did not saw this coming , I do not regret my 3 minutes I lost here to see it but ..I have to run.
  5. "Sad Face" no time for drama, I have my own ....later
  6. "Angry Face" WTF , don't let me started ..sorry lunch time

Now I am curious what kind of "like" I will get for this reply... ???

I thought about liking your post but figured it was some kind of experiment that I wasn't going to be a part of.

I use the like to show that I saw the content - doesn't mean I really "like" it. Love if I really liked it. Wow if it's surprising to me.
Yes the meaning of the like is not always "I Like It " not for nothing there is a thumb in the icon and not a heart , I do the same as you, to let people know I read their reply if I have nothing else to say , and if I love their reply then I use heart eyes ..
I actually know already very well , when you really like something ..

Jokes aside .. finishing clothing Merchant Resources for Dawn2
Set of basic clothing and shoes, fully beautifully rigged with a fluid movement thanks to TriAx Weight mapping that Dawn2 is using, what is much more advanced that actually General mapping that need a lot of join correcting morphs .

Here is one of them , a simple dress , top with slightly thickness
This merchant resources can be used for anything as long it will be used with Dawn2 and for Dawn 2.

Here couple of examples and behavior while posing .. The power of TriAx , and many hours of precise painting without the need of simulations for each step.

for both Poser & DS

Very nice. I think dynamic cloth looks so much better, and behaves better.

Dana
Thanks Dana , the previews are not dynamic , all weight mapped , not need run any simulation works great in animation , but the lower part of the dress is ready to be used if the end user want to use it with dynamics .

I have some simple sleepwear and leggings , 2 pair of shoes and t-shirt to get people started and have a nice base mesh to make it their own no matter the level of skills .

The wrinkle /fabric maps will be included for the fine details

If the time allows me I will have also full rigging templates for Dawn2 for the release , that can be used with Transfer utility , or you can use your own or old clothing from other figures and use Autofit function in Daz Studio .

Rigging Templates for :
Short Hair
Long Hair
Full Body suit
Shirt/bra
Dress Short
Dress Long
Pants /underwear
Shoes flat
Boots flat

Noteworthy
That's what I tell people who comment my renders in galleries - it's hard to get meaningful comments these days. If I get any, 99% are 5-letters long, So if I compliment those who post meaningful comments, it's like "training" them to do more it. LOL
I say "cool" a lot. At a 20% savings over 5 letters. But for people like Ken, I amp it with "very". Because some people deserve 100% more than just "cool"

Awesome!

for skin tight stuff:

I often use is a leotard. Several versions: With straps, sleeveless, short sleeves and long sleeves.
Another one is bike shorts. Very short, medium, mid-thigh.

I find that for clothing with an edge at or near the hip-thigh and shoulder-upper-arm need their own templates since the skin of the figure moves a lot different than the edge of the clothing that ends at or near those joints (in particular)

A good set of template rigs will go a long way to helping content creation!

Thanks so much for the perfect weight mapping! Would it be possible to get white textures too, so we can just change the diffuse?

Thanks, you mean normal/bump maps ? because that is all you need .. then you can throw on your own simple tiled textures or just change the diffuse, for your own usage changing just diffuse is ok , but for making a product you will need to invest a little more time in it

That is why I prefer very good weight maps in this area than JCMs. I never used any JCMs in my clothing rigging unless it was for a special effect like gravity but not for fixing weight maps , TriAx are so complex it does not need any of it . I stopped riggin clothing for Genesis after the weight maps were changed to General weight maps , too primitive and needed JCM for each possible bend , no fun !

The hip-thighs are always the worst area to work with as a lot is happening there , shoulders area can be painful too with the straps being placed in the wrong spot as it will deform with each arm movements , and of course the wrist and ankles that tend to pool on the clothing .

I am doin it also for myself as I don't want to spend 5 hours each time on base adjustment , plus if vendors work on both DS and Poser clothing it is a must have for a quick workflow .

as indeed it will help content creators to speed up the pesky work , so totally agree with you on that .

That's what I get for posting at 1:59 am! I saw triax and somehow thought dynamic.

I suspected that Dana .. but I wanted just to be clear about
and yes TriAx are so much better as they are complex but also need more time to work with.. however with General weight mapping creating rigging templates is not that easy as the JCMs will never transfer to the clothing so you have to recreate them all manually .. double work .

Looking gorgeous Cath, and thanks for the mesh screenshots as well. As someone who tries modelling good clothing, I like seeing the mesh before I purchase something, but most vendors don't include them.
