Well, I probably could give the snake chain a shot, but the rope is a no go. Maybe I'll do a snake chain bracelet for Dawn.
Yeah, I know it's been awhile, but just need to ask what's a good number of shoes for the average woman?
What about boots?Lessee: steel toecap work boots, wellington boots, hiking boots, long riding boots, short riding boots, training shoes, deck shoes, comfy slippers, medieval slippers, medieval ankle boots, Victorian ankle boots, that's eleven.
Uh... maybe that's not average though.
I own a pair of pumps, which I bought when I had to go somewhere dressy
OK, I was thinking of "court" shoes as something a Lady would wear to Court (as in to see the Queen), so yes the image you uploaded is pretty much what I was thinking, but I wasn't sure.Miss B, this from Wiki - A court shoe (British English), or pump (American English), is a shoe with a low-cut front, or vamp, and without a fastening. For the traditional formal menswear, the style is sometimes called an opera slipper or patent leather pump.
these are 20th court shoes from wiki as well and this is the shape I think of when someone says court shoes (with or without a heal)
Here's where language always trips me up. While I was growing up, 'pumps' referred to the type of slip-on gym shoes with a flat sole and elasticated bits either side of a central tongue, that you wore for indoor PE (Physical Education) classes at primary (junior) school. Not in the least bit dressy!
