You know, I never did figure out why Fred didn't just climb back in through the window.Flintstones, meet the Flintstones
They're the modern Stone Age Family
From the town of Bedrock
They're a page right out of history
Let's ride with the family down the street
Through the courtesy of Fred's two feet
When you're with the Flintstones
Have a yabba-dabba-doo time
A dabba-doo time
We'll have a gay old time
Flintstones, meet the Flintstones
They're the modern Stone Age Family
From the town of Bedrock
They're a page right out of history
Someday maybe Fred will win the fight
Then the cat will stay out for the night
When you're with the Flintstones
Have a yabba-dabba-doo time
A dabba-doo time
We'll have a gay old time
I remember that show. Starred Robert Conrad, but preferred him playing playing Jim West in Wild Wild West.I was always partial to Baa! Baa! Black Sheep! a.k.a. Black Sheep Squadron.
Yes, of all the books I've read over the years (decades), those are the only ones I still have. I've gotten rid of a lot of books by donating them to the local library, or giving them to friends, but the Foundation series is definitely on my list to read again at some point, so they're not going anywhere.I loved the foundation series - as I recall there was some action, but it was overshadowed by intrigue and politics. I need to revisit the series and read the remaining books that came after Foundation's Edge... hard to believe how long ago I read those... it was a different life then - I was a different man.
Gunsmoke and Bonanza were my sister's favorite shows. She LOVED westerns. Every time I went over to her house she was watching one like the High Chaparral or the Big Valley. If it wasn't one of those it was The Fugitive or Perry Mason. I was more of a Saturday morning Western kid. My favorites were Roy Rogers and for some reason I can't remember, Sky King. I used to wake up early on Saturday mornings because all my favorite monster movies came on Saturday mornings at six a.m. on Sunrise Theater.I liked the Wild Wild West show too, though my favorite western show back then was Gunsmoke.
