haha couldn't sleep.
Still getting over the infections I had a couple of weeks ago and was coughing most of the night (not sure if its because of the excess moisture as its been raining all night) so figured I might as well get up

Oh sometimes I think it's what position we're in. I find any congestion affects me more when I'm lying down, than if I'm sitting/standing up.

nothing seemed to help I half slept lying on the couch and the other half tried sleeping sitting up so I gave up hence the early start (must have woke hubby too since he got up not long after I did )

Yeah I hate that too, but since I get up between 5.30-6am anyway I knew I wasn't going back to sleep

Yeah...happens sometimes! Normally happens on a night when I have work the next day so I try really hard to get back to sleep but sometimes it's just not possible.

Hello, hello! Back home on Sans Souci today and now sitting in my chair in front of the fire. What a great holiday I had! Meeting Pen was a definite highlight, buying up IKEA was another, I am over all the travelling and dragging of luggage about but. I'll be aboard for only four days then ashore again to pupsit Joycie the Fluffbum for a couple of weeks...no time off for the wicked I hope you are all well and enjoying the change of season...it's getting warmer here.

And she's back...did you enjoy staying with your sister Lorraine? It was definitely a highlight for me getting to meet someone from here in real life and not just over the net.

Hey all! And thank you for the welcome homes So nice to be back in Opua and back on the forum!

I did enjoy my stay at my sister's, Pen, a nice visit and I got to see the cute little Inara Valentine twice. Did more shopping for the boat and arrived home with a suitcase bulging with goodies. Sans Souci will feel very spoilt once it's all aboard and fitted.

Rang my son last night. He's almost completely healed, has been discharged by the district nurse and is coming over to fit the new mobo whilst I am at the fluffbum's. But that's not all, he's bought me an i5 processor! What a nice boy I have

Yay! What a wonderful son he is! I'm surprised that there is anywhere left on San Souci to put anything with all the shopping you have been doing...I'm glad you enjoyed your stay and got to see Inara.

I have to confess, Pen, I had to make some room for all the clothes my sister gave me too! Went through my wardrobe and took out anything I hadn't worn for over a year, plus there's a pile of books so the opshop will be getting a big bag of goodies this week.

The book shop only engendered one sale which I ended up giving to my niece and her partner...it was all about micro gardens and now the two of them are full of plans for their back courtyard. My brother-in-law has had multiple phone calls from Melbourne with instructions of all the tools he needs to bring over next month to build the raised beds. He's actually quite chuffed cos he normally doesn't have a lot to do when he and my sister go to Melbourne
