The Anchorage, Part 3

I'm with Shannon on opening nights and crowds. I prefer to let it calm down first. I'd like to see Tarzan also...

I have to wear mine over my existing glasses and it gets sore behind my ears. Plus I find the film gets darker wearing them and I think the producers need to send the films out lightened up. But it was still good and was worth braving the downpours :)

Glad you liked Warcraft, and I hate going opening night as well, though here it's on Fridays. In fact, I usually wait for the second weekend, and go earlier in the day.

I thought I would hate the 3D glasses when I went to see Avatar, but I tell ya, they weren't as bad as I thought. I remember those horrid paper/cardboard ones they had years ago, but these have regular shaped plastic frames, that look, and feel, like regular glasses.
Do they have clip on versions for people who need glasses?

Not here (in Aus) Terre, but they are normally big enough to ware over existing glasses.

(I find them a pain as anything on the bridge of my nose gives me a headache)

I have wanted to get back to wearing contact lenses, though it's been over 20 years, because glasses really hurt the bridge of my nose, but at my age my Retina Specialist doesn't think it's a good idea. My eyes aren't as "young" as they were 20+ years ago.

Not in NZ either, Terre. It's just the soreness behind my ears that gets me.

Busy day and evening yesterday and day today. My son stayed on an extra night and we watched lots of documentaries and a couple more movies. Then tonight, dinner at a friends. Plus working on textures for Glitter's summer set for Diva. I decided I wanted stitches on the textures and that was a learning curve. I've done, redone, and done again till I'm a/ feel I've got the hang of it b/ happy with the results. It's going quicker now.

Good evening. :)

Lorraine, sounds like things are going very well.

Pen, my husband got into Poser by modding Dungeon Siege so I'm familiar with that route. LOL

I think it's a common one. Along for the ride with me at the time were NeilV, Mattymanx and Sickleyield. In fact Matty was the one who got it rolling. I think Neil had looked at it before as his mum was into it also.

Afternoon all :) Packed up, cleaned up, waiting for Joycie's mum and dad to arrive home, then BACK TO THE BOAT! Hoorah!!!

I'm home, unpacked and now cozy in front of the heater, trying to think of something to have for dinner. Oh, and I was given two 400g Toblerones! Looks like I'm off the glutton list ;)

...congrats. I had to go look up just what the heck a Toblerone was. :roflmao:

It sounds like it would be too sweet for my tastes! But hope you enjoy it. ;)
