By the way - I've not updated yet (everything is downloaded) and Poser 11 is working just fine.
Perhaps SM are giving users a little more time to sort out their updates, nice thought if that is the case.

Ken, I have made a fix for this. Send me a sitemail if you would like to test it.
It's very possible SM hasn't closed down that server yet. I wouldn't wait too long to at least update the software. The content zips can wait. I haven't done those yet, though looked through them to see what I'm actually going to install.
Oh I updated yesterday with no problem. Then again, I never had PP2014 Game Dev, so that wasn't an issue for me. I was just responding to Alisa's comment that she hasn't updated yet.Oh yes, I have changed my PP2014 Game Dev license still on the 19th, because there is a chance we might need the SMS servers to still be online to validate the change. It has worked for me, if it doesn't work for you, and you have missed the deadline, that might be the reason why.
Yes, IIRC, the grace period is 7 days between each "phone home" event.I just don't want people to panic, if they have not yet updated.
The product does NOT "phone home" every day, so even if the SMS servers are off line, until that happens, they can still use the older version
Already done. My machines were running a beta license, which "phones home" more frequently than a purchased license. PPro2014 Game Dev and P11.1Pro were working this morning but were dead when I checked about noon.Seems to me SM has never been bound by time. They'll shut down those servers... DAZ soon!

I installed P11.2, entered a purchased PPro2014 Game Dev license, and this workstation has P11.2 running. I have a couple of purchased P11Pro keys, but I wanted to check that PPro2014GD licenses were accepted. They are indeed.
The PoserSupport installer failed, however; MalwareBytes blocked it as "ransomware". I don't see a means of reporting it as a false positive. I don't know how to get around this.

Oh, I found (purchased, not beta) keys for PPro2014 (*not* Game Dev), so I should be able to downgrade my PPro2014 Game Dev installs to PPro2014 and be able to do compatibility testing for P10.
I know this is a dumb question, but I had a problem once with an older version when I had to reinstall...
The reinstall shouldn’t mess with my runtime folders... ?
