I think the loin is really nice. It looks more like a leather texture to me, which seems to work well. Were you trying for leather or fur?

Thanks Seliah! Yes, i wanted to do a leather texture for this one and add some fur later, but i think i will let only the leather ^^

I'd say it's your project, your vision - you do what you think is right for it. Remember, people can always make their own textures or use shaders if they wish to do something different on the loin.

Personally, I think you've managed to create a look here that could pass for either leather or fur depending on where and how it's used in a scene. Nice job.
