Never having seen Sagebrush before, are those the flowers, the yellow tops?

Actually that's Gray Rabbitbrush--- I'm still working on the Great Basin Sagebrush (which is pretty much all gray-- including flowers)

Here's a render with all the rocks in place (now that I was able to shoot some pictures) plus the completed Sagebrush

Edited to add: the heart was for Ken's rocks not the Witchetties bla (although they do say they taste nutty)

I Think I got my "anole" lizards done...well as much as I can... when they turn brown for their camouflage they actually get a patterning...so the brown one isn't too useful... (unless I 'snitch' some of the patterning off of one of Ken's other lizards...hmm.. LOL)

I like my green... I had to really tone it down- ie: blur a bit, the scales...they just would not render right... but too, those little guys are SO TINY their skin is almost more 'leathery' looking than scaley...

I also had some fun with the tongue/inner mouth coloring... I may have gotten the tongue a little TOO bright pink... looks a bit like candy! LOL!

Thanks for the comments and, uh ...grubs.... There was a time I'd try about anything-- I had termites once... but that time has long passed lol

Once I get this habitat done, I'm going to move modeling my Saguaro habitat. That habitat will feature a Saguaro cactus, an ocotillo, some jumping Cholla and probably a small shrub like 4-wing Saltbush or more rabbitbrush. It will have two burrrows; one halfway up the Saguaro for birds (Gila Woodpecker or Cactus wren for example) and a upright earth mound for Burrowing Owls.
