It's the stuff that uses Poser's procedural shaders that you have to watch out for. Things that use straight texture mapping are usually okay, although bump and spec may need tweaking. But until quite recently, geometry was just geometry and generally worked in either. There are some fairly recent things where the Poser rigging doesn't work in Studio, but for something like this, rigging isn't an issue.

Flight of the Lorikeets! (There should be a lot more in the flock but I didn't want it to look like a rainbow swarm of crazy :p

Just a quick test of Iray shader settings with specular maps created from the bump.

DS 4.9/Iray (HDR lighting with one mesh above the lorikeets)

I have four lorikeets (aka psychos) 2 Rainbow, 1 Red Collared and 1 Olive (Grey-Green mutation.) Madness!

Oh Saiyaness! They are gorgeous! I love how the "sun" is shining through the feathers.

I haven't had any luck with making the birds look good in Iray. Is the spec map the secret?
