So here is the Epic Revenge Class Escort Carrier I mentioned in my last post. Though it is hard to see all of the details I did include on it without close ups (Deck Railings, Hand Grips, Airlock Hatches, etc..). I re-rendered it a few days ago but could not find time to upload it. As it is seen here is how it was finished on that Celeron 833mghz back in 2010 or 2011. I had to cut corners and have wanted to go back and add more details yet. I do intend to clean up the custom markings in the near future. This image is actual of the "Retribution" from the second generation of the carriers. In the timeline of my project the first ship of the line, the Revenge, has long been destroyed, but I do intend to build her too at some point. Even though I finished construction of this on an 833mghz I could not render it - even after downsampling all of the textures to 25% of their initial size. The first renders were not until I moved to a Celeron 2.33ghz with 2gb ram (I had started building the machine in 2005 but didn't finish it until almost 2010 due to life getting in the way).

WOW, there's quite a bit of detailing on those. I looked at a number of them, and they are really nice. I don't do the kind of senic renders that would put those to good use, but I'm sure there are folks out there who do, and these would certainly come in handy for them to use in their scenes.

Thanks @Miss B These are assembled in Poser from the parts from Davo's older Vehicle and Sci-Fi construction sets, sometimes with other nurnies and bits from my runtime.

Right now I am working on kitbashing the interior launch bays for that carrier using a mix of the Davo sets and his Facades series. I also have the bridge underway (started some years ago really). Many of these are needed for my animated sci-fi project, and I need to lay out a lot of interiors yet. Sometimes I get too wrapped up in details and nurnies though (having initially tried learning traditional VFX and being a long time tabletop gamer making custom scenery and vehicles).

I just posted a few more of my ships representing the design era from 2013-2018. I'm working my way toward posting my newer and more recent builds.

Ohhh, loving the Kodiak A.P.E. I'm taking a Blender class for the 3rd (or is the 4th) time over at Udemy, and they have a class there for creating characters, and one is in that type of class, though much smaller and with less details. I want to take that class at some point, because I like what I've seen others creating who are taking it. It also includes all kinds of vehicles, though none like the ones you are working on.

I am always amazed by the amount of work that goes into each piece that you create Carey! Excellent job you have done on this!

Believe it or not, I actually down size everything as to how I envision something...The best thing for me about poser is as a 2D artist I was only half as good as I wanted to be...Poser open a huge door for me....

(Chapter tail) Kat and Seabiscuit have talked Snape into attending the Charity masquerade at Hogwarts on New Year's Eve. They and Captain Clark will also attend.

Now they turn their minds toward making it possible for Fawkes to attend. How do you disguise a *phoenix*?

The sheer beauty of the sky was never lost on Caoimhe it was ironic then that her mission that night was to check equipment whos job it was to defend against any threat that may appear from the very sky she adored so much.

Found this digging through an old Hard Drive... from the before time...before arthritis, carpal tunnel, and nerve damage took wrecked havoc on my hands... back when I not only thought i was a good traditional artist but enjoyed it immensely. I so miss those days (well, that aspect of them anyway).
