I know! She is going home on Monday, when I have to leave port again, so it's sweet. We have grown so close over the years. It's kind of funny, because we never actually met face to face until after she had graduated from college. But we talked on the phone a lot and then there were video chats later on. I am just really stoked that her vacation and my time at home have finally clicked!

Yeah, there's a tropical depression over the area right now, so it's raining cats, dogs, squirrels and small farm animals over here, but we will find something to do. She's my wife's favorite niece too, because she has never been in trouble or messed with boys or done anything to shame the family. Top of her class all through school, and since she is a nurse, she always has employment opportunities. We are proud of her.

EDIT: She was working in Bahrain at the time this picture was taken. Yes, she is Muslim, so wearing the hijab comes natural to her. But she doesn't wear it when she is in the house.

I am home by myself for awhile. They all went to a movie in Tagalog, so I decided to stay home. Tagalog is the official language of the Philippines. Before anyone says anything about how I have been married to a Filipina for 20 years and have been living here for 11, keep in mind that I would rather keep the fact that I can or cannot speak the language to myself.

I was hoping to see some critiques, but I know you are all busy. I can wait.

Terre already found bunch of gaffs that I made, and I corrected them as she pointed them out. I am hoping to get most of those cleared up. Critiquing the story is the one thing no one has done yet. That's the part that I am waiting for.
