I am SO glad you're back!

I model mostly in Wings. I use Blender for some of its features, but I didn't have to use it with this suit because it was made by shell extruding from her clothing resource. It's still not finished. There are a few things I want to put on it. Thanks for looking!!!

I have the final textures done on most of the suit. I am working on getting a good glow from the eye now. Once I get that done, she will be ready to rock!

One last image before I put this one to bed. I am going to be in script starting Monday, so no more renders or character development until I finish the second draft.

Oh, man! I saw that you replied so I came back in here. I took a look at my render and thought something was missing... Now I want to add a light strip down her arms and legs! Shoot, I knew I should have just checked this tomorrow! Oh well, I guess I will have to talk myself out of it. Glad you like it!

Ok. 3 votes for and none against. I am off to Wings to create light strips for her armor.

I couldn't find a way to add the light strips without a total remodel, so I brainstormed some other options. I have to stop messing with the costume or I won't get any of my writing done. Oh well, she's worth the extra work.

Thanks!

Have you ever loaded a figure, gotten the lighting just right, loaded the perfect props and background, tweaked the materials to perfection, spend 3 hours rendering it only to find out you effed the pose up?

I just did that. Rendering again.....

No, but I've loaded a figure, posed, lit and positioned it perfectly amongst the perfectly placed props, gone to render it, 'Daz Studio has encountered a fatal error and will close', NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!, I didn't save it before rendering! I then want to drive a stake through DS's dark heart and BURN IT!

I've done that! I was working for hours on a render that I knew I'd probably overloaded the scene for. Sure enough, I hit render and Poser goes "wait. What?" and closes on me. I hadn't saved a thing. And recreating it was out of the question. Darn software!
