I'd go with the sconces.... but that's personal preference on my part, also. I hate mirrors that have built in lights around the frame. At only 5ft tall, those mirrors tend to light directly into my eyes and I can't see squat as a result. LOL

You know, sadly, I can't do plants yet. I might hve to see what I can scrounge up from Lisa B that looks like a decent house plant.

Okay, second bathrooms in now. I'm going to do the kitchen next and put in the counters. That'll pretty much be everything that I'm adding to the house at that point. Everything else will be furniture or appliance packs. For the house I have to go back in and clean up the mesh, and UV map and texture everything.

Neat little trick I found modeling in Blender from a Floor plan. Well at least this floorplan. As long as the floorplan has actual measurements. You can start modeling the fixtures, furniture in the spot you want them to go and when time comes to import it ito the actual scene, it will appear where it is supposed to go. For me this just means starting the basic shapes.;)

Started the basic layout for the island and kitchen counters and cabinets. in this case i had to look up the standard kitchen cabinet height which studies say is about 3 inches below the elbow. I am getting soooo tempted to rig Dawn in Blender.

Okay, got the cabinets in and segmented. they need doors and that's where the decision comes in on what kind. I think I'm also going to go ahead and do the major appliances with this set up after all... the stove, refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, microwave. I might even do a small appliances as well. I can always separate them out if I need to. And the scene will look more realistic when I render it in Cycles.:sneaky:

Even found a site with decent free textures. Only problem is they're free until and unless I decide to sell anything. It's $80 for a license, but it might be worth it.
