When Calista entered the Hangar deck and saw the Shiane Ray for the first time she was awed by the expansiveness of the craft. Though a sleek wing design, it was much larger than she expected. The Technicians working to fuel and arm the craft for flight seemed like insects, scurrying 'neath the foot of some great bird of prey. She could see the exhaust ports for the missiles on the outer edge of the wings, and a gstling gun on a turreted mount below the cockpit module. She knew it carried other armaments, but could not see them from below. Slowly she approached the mammoth craft, and began to draw the fingers of her right hand along the metallic skin on the underside of the craft. It all had a dreamy quality about it. Calista had been reading the specs on this craft for the last two weeks, and now she would finally get to fly one. She could not hold in a slight smirk as she approached the boarding ladder - a humorous thought twisting in her mind...
"Is it big enough?"
