Congratulations Ken for your Giant Monkey Frog main image on Renderosity's latest newsletter! Yarroo!
here is the DS frog error... (in Carrara)
Isn't there a comment section for each image in the gallery? Even if outside links are forbidden, couldn't you say where the model came from?I wish there was a way I could direct them to HW
Threatened, are they?I'm sure the marketing departments at Rendo and DAZ are none too happy about my posting my product renders in their galleries
I'm stunned that they actually let you. They've always been soooo "particular" about which images are allowed up in their galleries, I never posted any all the years I was a member there.I'm grateful they allow me to post my images at all.
Someone else had trouble exporting the Frog via .dae Collada. After hunting around I think I might have some of the issue resolved (and might pertain to the Carrara issue too). The Poser .dae export issue can be resolved turning off SubD or setting it a "0". While I haven't tried it yet, I'd venture a guess that resaving the frog with SubD turned off in DS and then trying to load it into Carrara would work

Thanks for the reply, unfortunately it doesn't solve the problem for Carrara. Still the same error message.
Oh I'm sure, but you were a very popular PA there, and for those of us who knew you then . . . I don't know, it just seems strange. Then again, you were more commonly known as SongBirdReMix, rather than Ken Gilliland, back in the day.I'm sure my success is due to me posting art rather than blatant product promos, and secondly keeping the text about art (and field guide notes) rather than the product and where you can get it.

Sorry that didn't work. I was able to load the frog into Carrara via my imported Poser Runtime-- I would have tried the DS files but can't figure how to get the DS libraries into Carrrara (seems to only want runtimes)... my Carrara is ancient. Tomorrow I'll try again, first looking to see if there are any updates.
