Nicely done Stezza, though I certainly wasn't expecting to see a frog leaping off a sidewalk. ;)

Nice work, Stezza and I'm happy to see you managed to get the frog into Carrara... the image reminds me a little of an area close to downtown Los Angeles next to the LA River. This area is referred to by locals as "Frogtown" because of all the frogs came up from the LA River. With the urbanization over the last 40 years hardly any frogs are found there anymore but a notorious street gang still carries the name, FTR (the Frog Town Racers).

I promised during the sale that I'd do an update on Water Lily Garden so that it would match the quality levels of the new frog. My update plans included enhancing the models a little, adding 4K textures and adding Iray/SF materials.

Here's a little teaser render one of the original 2010 waterlilies along two of the 2017 update with a Southern Leopard Frog. I'm guessing late May for the update to go live...

one more image,... this time with the third replacement texture, some of the new enhanced shaping morphs shown and the new water drops and pooled water props (since frogs probably won't climb onto the pads dry)

I'm probably not going to do much with the flowers (other than better material settings). I'm going to take a look at the giant Amazon lily and at least do a new 4k map on that.

Hey Ken, just a FYI on the product page of the Frog's Volume 1 description..

Reads: and the Australian Great Barred Frog of the Queensland and South Wales regions.

Should read: and the Australian Great Barred Frog of the Queensland and New South Wales regions.

A first look (and test render) of my Ecuador Poison Dart Frog. This is really, really small frog measuring only about 20-25mm (0.8-1 inch) from snout to rump. The frog, as you would expect, is found in Ecuador, as well as parts of Columbia and Peru. This frog is also called the ‘Little Devil’ and is moderately toxic (as far as Poison Dart frogs goes). The alkaloid toxins, secreted from the frogs' skin, interfere with nerve impulses which can lead to heart failure or fibrillation.

Dang, that's beautiful. And this is what's so wonderful about VIRTUAL critters! No venom, no allergies!
