I wrapped up the final Frog map in my Frogs of the World Volume I last night and now am fine-tuning all 6 of the frogs and creating promo renders. It's looking like I'll have this set out at the tail end of my sale.

Here's the Giant Monkey Frog of the Amazon Basin in a Firefly render.

Got your frog a few days ago and really like it!

Thanks, after I finish up the Racing Tack for "Harry" (the HW horse). My two next projects will be revamping "Water Lily Garden" (free update to those who already own it) with 4K textures and Iray/SF materials (so that it holds up well to the new frogs) and a "Frogs of the World Volume 2" which will be filled with the super colorful Poison Dart Frogs.

These South America frogs, as the common name suggests, are poisonous and in a few cases, their toxic secretions are used to poison the tips of blowdarts. The rule with Poison Dart Frogs is the more colorful they are, the more poisonous they are. For instance, the Golden Poison Dart Frog (rated: very colorful) is generally estimated to contain about one milligram of poison, which is enough to kill about 10,000 mice. This estimate will vary in turn, but most agree this dose is enough to kill between 10 and 20 humans.

Frogs to be included in Volume 2:

Wow, those are definitely colorful. The Black and Yellow Poison Dart Frog made me think of the Gila Monster in your Lizards of the World Vol. II set.

oooo I just "ran" and got your water lily garden...I thought I had it already, but turns out I didn't .... now I'm ready for your update! :)

I also am almost done with a frog art piece...just one more element to put in... I used a free photo from Pexels for those lily pads...

Can't wait for your Vol. 1 !! :)

JFYI Ken,

The DS version of the frog doesn't load into Carrara.. brings up an error.. you may of packaged it up slightly differently to your other DS products..

The Poser version loads ok..

Doing a time consuming render at the moment when it's done I'll post the error message and any more info I can get.

Lovely poison dart frogs. I've seen some of those at the reptile show, but not all of them. Last fall the show seems to have had a bumper crop of tortoises, but there were a lot of teeny tiny poison dart frogs as well. I think the biggest were maybe a half inch long (not with legs extended, that is).

@Stezza- I'm not sure why Frogs doesn't like Carrara... it loads fine in DAZ Studio and Poser. The file "NW_Frog_17351.dsf" is in DS data folder
and my DS reads it. I think I still have Carrara on one of my network machines so I'll take a look today-- I suggest trying the Poser version in Carrara (at least to load the model) in the meantime.
