haha I know when you say "crook" you mean sick but it reminds me of the time my Brother-in-Law went to hospital in Ireland and said that and the nurse just looked at him wide-eyed then asked him to repeat what he just said. He said "I feel crook" then she got him to repeat it to the other nurses and they all laughed at him (when they figured out he wasn't trying to be a thief :p)
