Flying such a large vessel was surprisingly easy thanks to the massive computerisation of all aspects of the craft. Having found a suitable landing place she knew moving heavy equipment alone would be a different matter so she spent the next few days printing and equipping herself with a team of helpers.

@phdubrov , I like where you're going with this...at the moment though(at least for my taste) the skin looks off. I'm not sure if it's the actual texture you're using or if the setting is too high on the bump/displacement you're using. The eyes, eyebrows and mouth are really well done but for some reason for me the skin is just not at the same level.

Probably yes. And it very, very depend on image size - what was looking goood on 3/5 of this image now looking passable...

Very true and also the lights have an impact. It's impossible to get a shader that will suit everything without adapting it to suit what you're doing. Those eyes though are absolutely brilliant.

Over at Rendo I asked about deer models. I've had some encounters with deer lately and wanted to make some cartoons on my blog. I couldn't find any deer models in the usual places. Seachnasaigh reminded me of Lyne's models, which I'd forgotten about. He also mentioned that Lyne was usually around here.

Lyne's reindeer works beautifully for the mule deer I'm seeing. The ears are scaleable!
