Well, I've discovered that hair isn't something I ought to be working on right now. :) Maybe one day.

The lack of hair made necessary a helmet of some sort. I've made a two part thing with the helmet itself being one part and the visor being part of a headset sort of thing. You would be able to use one or the other or both as in the pics below. I've also added some gloves. Here is a set of images to show what I hope will be the complete outfit.

These are Superfly renders using the Poser Physical Surface node for materials. I'm working on setting things up for Firefly as well.

Comments, thoughts, criticism welcome. I wish I had more time to work on this. I'm sort of getting a little tired of looking at it. :)

Wonderful helmet, it's got some really nice detail. However I will admit the helmet makes me wonder, what is it she's worried about happening to her head, but she not worried about loosing all the skin on her back? Although maybe she's the pilot for a some giant mech and needs the helmet for all the heads up displays.

Mainly, she's just worried about her helmet hair. :) The headset/visor with no helmet was the original idea, but that needed some hair. That idea didn't work, so in comes helmet. Anyway, I kind of think she's going to be going head first into any situation, so helmet good. :)

I suppose if it's a serious concern I could fill in the exposed areas, and it might still look OK.

You're in the midst of heated battle. Your Head's Up Display (HUD) is filled with bogies as thick as fireflies. You take a hit! You shut down the system and find that the AC is out.

Of course you need two versions. One extremely skimpy for no air conditioning and one for when the AC is just fine so that quietrob will stop staring at you.

Okay, I like skimpy outfits! So there!!

I was thinking of staring at Dawn or Vicky but uh, Go ahead and put on that Uniform and we'll go from there!

On the real, I do like the exposed outfit but fully covered must be more functional in a Evangelion type of way.

No not a serious concern at all. I'm just glad that others were willing to follow me down the giant robot anime rabbit hole. Which means you may need a Sora morph for this.

Hopefully, this will make both Gadget Girl and quietrob happy. :) I modeled a sort of corset/armor sort of thing to protect her bare back and sides. It is, of course, removable to expose said back and sides. Anyway, it was fun to do and it also helped me figure out a few things regarding textures and uv mapping in 3dcoat that I was curious about. NOW I'm calling it finished, and I'll be working on getting the new corset textured to match the other texture sets I've created for the outfit as well as getting all the materials to work as hybrid materials in Poser, so the user can render in either Superfly or Firefly.

I do like it. Someone can ALWAYS think of more stuff but as it is, she's ready to ride a tank or a mecha and look good doing it!

I approve!

OK, been working on the motorcycle which is the reason for this outfit. I've never done a vehicle of any sort before, so this has been another one of those adventures you'd rather not take but now it's too late to turn back. :)

Anyway, I need some opinions, sage advice or whatever. This is what I have so far. It's really mostly done (modeling). I would like to add some more detail, maybe a headlight and some bolts hear and there and an exhaust of some sort. This model is getting pretty big. I guess my question is how much is too much?

The next question would be is it any good at all, or should I chuck it and go back to the drawing board. I look at it one minute and like it and the next minute I just want to delete and go again.

Do NOT chuck it. I like it a lot, and I agree, a headlight and exhaust are needed. Otherwise it looks really nice. ;)
