Cold and drizzly here. Had to turn the heater back on. That's how the weather works this time of year. Sometimes you need the AC and sometimes the heater. Within a month there will be no more cool until next fall.

Oh you have no idea. He's a great trainer, and we spend the second half hour boxing, so it's fun too.

Another fantabulous day in Opua, unbelievably warm for the last month of autumn. No clouds, barely a breeze, and quite lovely.

Sounds nice. It wasn't bad here today either. Yesterday it rained, but today was decent, and I think I've put my winter jacket away until the end of the year.

I'm still wearing my summer clothes, it's crazy! There's been a few cold nights and a couple of cool days but nothing like I would expect for this time of the year. The long range forecast is for a warm May and the possibility of a 'winterless' winter. Not what we want to hear as we need the cold to stop the insect pests from proliferating. Wasps will take over the north if it's a super mild winter.

Howdy, peeps! Gloomy but very warm May afternoon is drawing to a close. I decided to have an early dinner and then fire up the Beast, however I didn't take into account post prandial lethargy. And how many tissues I would need before, during and after my Thai chicken red curry. Whew, I is a boiling, streaming bunny! Yummy but

Well, that's one way to stay warm for winter, now isn't it? (It IS getting on towards winter for you folks, right? Or am I way off my rocker again?)
