This is an AMAZING project Earl. WOW! Love to see all the progress page by page.

Honestly, I think you've discovered a good niche to create in. Next you'll have to challenge yourself in making a whole mess of kitchen tools like a coffee maker, mixer, microwave oven with a door that opens... you get the picture! :devil"

Well, the microwave is already planned.;) I actually do have a plan to place a few knick knacks like that in the kitchen though, so you never know.

I'm trying to work on that sliding door you see behind Dawn, and it's giving me fits. I'm using one of Bagginsbills glass tutorials and I'm not liking that refraction reflection in the glass doors. Somehow it's not looking natural to me. Wonder what would happen if I lowered the IOR?

Hmmm, wish I could help but I know nothing of Poser's shader setup's Earl! :(

I'm having one of those good news, bad news days, it seems. This is my FIRST time ever trying to rig a door in Poser and I seem to have done it right, but NOW I'm having trouble with the materials of the oven. Specifically with the Glass. I can't seem to make it transparent. I'm not quite sure what the problem is. Poser seems to be recognizing the material and ignoring it at the same time.

Looks good Earl...do stoves in the US have two ovens? Over here we have generally an oven and a griller. The Griller is normally much smaller than the oven.

This is a double wall oven Pen. Basically it's two ovens stacked on top of each other and placed in a cabinet. Mostly used by professional chefs and people who do a lot of cooking and entertaining. Or you can use one oven to cook and the other as a warming or holding oven. Dawn's kitchen has a separate stovetop.

BTW, got that problem with the glass in the ovens figure out. There were two polygons that needed to be designated as glass and only one was. I had to go back into Blender to straighten that out. Probably could have fixed it in Poser if I could ever figure out how to work the Grouping tool properly.

Nice...I haven't seen many double ovens. They probably have them here somewhere...when we bought our stove recently they had changed the grillers from pull out ones to a door like the oven and then you pull it out...in case you hadn't caught on I don't do a lot of cooking. I tend to avoid it...glad you got the glass issue sorted.

Having another issue to sort out now. I want to save the prop to Poser's library as a joined Prop, but it doesn't seem to work that way. Looking for some answers now though. If I can't figure it out I'll have to save everything separate as smart props.

Hmmmm, what would you smart prop them too? I think you can only make a "smart" prop that's parented to a cr2, not another pp2, or am I wrong?

Oh wait, I just had a thought, can you smart prop them to the wall? Not sure how, or if, that would work.

Well, I found a workaround, but there's a liiiitttle problem. I made morphs to open and close the doors. The problem is that when i dial in the morph, the whole oven moves either up or down and forward or backward. I actually think I know why, but I also don't know what i can do about it.

YES!!! Adzan came through for me! My problem wasn't in rigging the door as much as it was saving to the library. The answer was simple. I had to save the oven and open the subset selection to check off what to add along with it. WORKED like a charm. The refrigerator is next.
