Remember these???? When you could eat as many as you wanted??? They were so popular even Sonic the Hedgehog ate them.
I ate some about a week ago. I liked the "baked" version. Essentially, 50% pressed and baked mashed potatoes. And 50% salt and oil. What's not to like?Remember these?????

I saw him live once, and that's the only song I ever heard him sing that I liked. That said, however, I'm sure there are others who could do it much better. He always sounded like he was shouting it, not singing it.Remember him????? One of my favorite lines to discribe him comes from the movie "Office Space". "No talent, ass hat!"

It's actually been recorded more than four times. Otis Redding, Joe Cocker and I think it was Mick Jagger also did versions.I saw him live once, and that's the only song I ever heard him sing that I liked. Edited to Add:
Out of curiosity, I just discovered that Michael Bolton's version was the 4th recording of the song . . . that it was first recorded by Percy Sledge back in 1966, and then a Country singer I'm not familiar with in 1976, and once again by Bette Midler in 1980. How Michael Bolton's version made it to the top of the Billboard 100 Chart is amazing.
I liked his version of Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay!Remember him????? One of my favorite lines to discribe him comes from the movie "Office Space". "No talent, ass hat!"

Mick Jagger? Hmmm, some how I can't "hear" that. Otis Redding, yes, but Mick Jagger . . . nope. It's actually been recorded more than four times. Otis Redding, Joe Cocker and I think it was Mick Jagger also did versions.
Oops, I owe you an apology. For some reason, when you were talking about the song When a Man Loves A Woman, somehow I got it mixed up with Ain't Too Proud to Beg.Mick Jagger? Hmmm, some how I can't "hear" that. Otis Redding, yes, but Mick Jagger . . . nope.
I got my info from Wikipedia, and they only mentioned the 4 recordings. Then again, a lot of the information they have is "contributed" by individuals, so it's possible no one had the information about the other recordings.
No problem, I happen to like the song, so listening to it.Oops, I owe you an apology. For some reason, when you were talking about the song When a Man Loves A Woman, somehow I got it mixed up with Ain't Too Proud to Beg.
