Yup those are proper baby boots, all right. Aways worn with socks.

And the dress is very much what the base of all Ma's baby dresses were built on. Wide varieties of surface detail, but the underlying pattern was usually the same. Although I think she dropped the waist a bit, but that's all a matter of preference. I think the higher waist looks better, anyway.

Still need to add the socks , baby Luna's feet are long for a baby at that age.
I was thinking to add the underlining all over the dress to create different look like lace over satin for different materials.
I would drop the waist but that is where the folding naturally started , for a toddler would be a different story , but if I did for the baby here , she would have belly above her waist and looks less cute lol
I did tried the hair, too creepy , this head morph is to young to have a lot of hair or long hair , so still working on the options to find the proper balance . With toddler would be easier but Baby Ela is too young to rock a wig .

I'm a 1972 model, and an Australian so I guess that was the fashion around that time lol
I had the same haircut as you and so my sisters at that time .. I still want to recreate my clothing , on the colder side in North Europe at that time.

I was looking for some references for a baby hair on Google and found Baby Luna on sale for C4D fully textured and rigged too, exported FBX from DS probably .. I reported it to the online store that host it with the info of the copyrights holder .
The world is not as big as someone may believe . People not even bother to alter it, just straight out of the box including diaper and textures .

Yeah, most of the wigs out there look just plain wrong on a baby. Well, on a realistic baby anyway. Toons are something else again.
so true, when you getting close to the line of reality , other things starting to look odd, especially hair . The very young baby's hairline is so much higher than by regular people , this is the first thing that set the red flag, I guess some grandpa hair may be just right lol

The ruffled bottom diaper covers would be really cool (They had ruffles on the tush, but not the front. And yes, the babydoll dresses are high waisted, I used to have a bunch for my first daughter. Little head bands, bows, barrets and hats/bonnets.

Accessories for babies would be my next thought. Not just blankets and rattles, but papoose boards, back slings, side slings (think various culture's ways of holding the baby), front pack.

I know the Bloomers Shorts, I will not make the ruffles in the front , in the back I could make some dynamic morphs so the ruffles don't poke anything when lay down or sit.
I was preparing yesterday some insert curve brushes to make the ruffles faster, just to find out it need to be double sides to work or it will not weld
that exactly what I don't want as it would double in size . I will try to make double material sides and see if can remove the lower side after inserting the rufflee to fix the way I want.

@Dakorillon (IMArts) the back/front slings are great idea as well . However I never used one.
some basic stuff for the little baby

Really fine. I suppose it would be difficult to impossible to make the jumpsuit look like it was being worn over a diaper?

To make it no problem but after rigging .. I need to rig it as close as possible to the figure first then add a morph that will imitate the diaper, I was already thinking about that.

I am thinking if I should make build in morph for the body for the proper diaper as it will allow me to make better clothing , right now the space there is so little even for a proper diaper or diaper covers, it will eliminate the need for diaper morphs in the clothing .
I think Baby Luna have diaper morph for the body but need to check if it will works for me first.

For as specific a figure as a baby that might be very useful all round. I know that there are No-Suit morphs for Genesis figures which smooth out the buttock crease and bridge the breast area. A diaper morph would be at least as useful as the various corset and cleavage morphs which get rolled into various female clothing.

Admittedly, I don't know how it works in Poser, but it isn't uncommon in Studio.

here with the Luna's original body diaper morph , however the buttock crease is still there ( not in my clothing as I smooth it out ), I will make new one so it looks more as a diaper under clothing
