That will be different from the standard mermaids.
Some of the other classical Greek characters would be good, too, as I don't know how well the Creature Creator Heads system will work with the new D2FM. So, Faun, Satyr, Centaur, Minotaur, Dryad, Oread, Nymph, Sylph, Niad, Undine, Salamander, Pech, Medusa. India has some rich characters too, with Naga, Lamia, Rakshasha. Then there is Swan May and Lycos and Selkies. And that isn't getting into Japanese culture with Oni, Tengu, Hengyokai, and so on, or more traditional Elves, orcs, dwarves, Giants, Ettin, Trow, Faeries, Brownies, Dames Verte, Twillith Teg and so on! lol

Ah, a Melusine. Genesis 1 had a version of that, but nothing since then.
That would be the proper English name for her , in my country we call her Syrena ( since she was singing) she was fresh water creature as well but the legend says she came from the sea via the river. In medieval times all mermaids was portrait as Melusine sometimes even with wings.

Currently most likely to be found on a Starbucks logo.
It is symbol of my country's capital city Warsaw , but they use now officially one fish tail, got rid of the medieval version , but a lot of beautiful figures in the city still with 2 fishtails.
below my favor figure , she protect the city with her sword and shield as thank you for saving her life by the fishermen

I'd love to see an option for gills on the mermaid/syrena. It's wonderful seeing the two leg concept realized- very elegant looking too!
Thank you I will make them on the chest as you saw already "the lines " I want her to look realistic less cartoonish, with a lot of mini details on the skin so no bra needed because that would be Disney lol

The two tailed version was not uncommon in Europe either, but I totally prefer the way you have kept the beauty of the legs musculature- instead of the snaky-boneless tails usually pictured.
Though your D2 mermaid probably can't assume the 'Starbucks' position : )

I agree, the snake like tails not really for me, the Little Mermaid from Denmark have also 2 legs just like I made above ( not snake like ) , but this way I need just a full body morph and not other stuff to make it happen .
Below the older coat of arms with the twin tails , now is just an Ariel from Disney ..

The Starbucks position would not work , only 3 bones in the main legs

This is great. Love this.Very Unique. I am not a Disney style fan also. And as an European I am really happy to see out of the usual box fantasy styles . Beautiful.

Brilliant
Hi Cath, I noticed Alejandro's wearing a suit. If possible, can you square the shoulders and add some sleeve folds (if you haven't already) a la the included photo, please? Thanks so much.

after rigging I can adjust precisely everything right now just base modeling , folds and things will be added to everything I am doing after rigging , I have base for rigging and after that I replace it with the final model , D2M is not in beta yet so all I can do is model base clothing, for the suit the arms need to be more lower than A pose to correct the shoulders and I don't have it not right now. But don't worry it gonna be great when it is done .

Nice... you know that Alejandro's cap, long-sleeved shirt and pants aren't too far a cry from the jockey silks I've wanted to put Dusk in and finish off the thoroughbred racing themed sets I have.

I do have to say, its looks like you've almost single-handedly are giving Chris's human characters the support they've been missing (but deserved) for all these years... an incredible wealth of diversity of top notch characters and clothing-- amazing work!

Thank you so much Ken ! I never saw your racing themed set , can you share a link please ? that would be wonderful
all the parts of the set can be mixed together as it gonna be one bundle . Both cotton and "silks" materials for a different thickness.

I can make specific racing jockey outfit set as well as wee need boots
