But, but, but, I looooove broccoli. Unfortunately, it's high in calcium oxalate, so I have to restrict how much, and how often, I can eat it or I'll have another Kidney Stone attack, and trust me . . . once in a lifetime is more than enough.Think of it as the broccoli on plate-- your parents put it on your plate because it's good for you, not necessarily because you'll like it
OK, I see how by type might be the best way to go. I hadn't thought about a good many species being native in many different regions, which would result in duplication.Doing by type, probably is the way to go since as I stated initially , with regions, I'd end up repeating some birds for every region which have worldwide ranges. There will be 31 groups since I need to add "Fantasy and Mythological" to that list. I might be tempted in some of the larger groups like "Perching Birds (Order Passeriformes)" to break down that huge group (since it includes more than half of all bird species) a little more in subfolders to "Finches and Sparrows", "Wrens", etc
lol, love it!My render based on the story above.... I'll have the road cones available in my freebies next week

handsome family you have there...Apart for the hugely time-consuming task of updating the SBRM models, I find myself caring for two needy birds all day long...
of course, there's Elsa, my 20 yr-old Citron-Cuckatoo, who thinks she's still 2 1/2yrs old child (and will so for the rest of her life (approx 30-50 yrs more)
...for the last week, I've also been caring for a Band-tailed Pigeon nestling who got displaced. Band-tails are large pigeons (bigger than rock doves aka feral/street pigeons). Band-tails are yellow-listed (close to threatened) and are only found along the west coast of the Americas (primarily NA). They require forested areas to survive and are the nearest relative to the extinct Passenger Pigeon.
We're hoping to release him/her in another week with the rest of the Band-tailed flock that visits on yard daily once he/she starts feeding solid food.
