Weather is great here but today I stay home and clean and catch up on my little pony episodes. I do not want to see a spoiler for something big that I missed in the episodes I did not see.

Well, Hurricane Nate spent most of the day here as a tropical depression. It was cold and rainy all day with some wind, but nothing like Irma. No downed trees, a few remaining dead or dying branches came down, but Irma took out most of the diseased ones and we maintained power and internet all day.

Glad to hear you're ok Glitterati! I've been tracking Nate over on Breitbart through the day and it looked like it was going to be a beast first thing! :)

Good to hear Traci. Maybe it'll die out before it gets too far north.

It was mostly a rain event here, Miss B. We got about 4 inches today. Highest wind gusts were ~40mph and they weren't constant like Irma, truly just occasional gusts of wind that high.

Hopefully, even though it's predicted to go up the east coast, I suspect it's just going to be wet for you.

Thanks, Mythocentric. I think we were all just praying it wasn't another Irma. She took days to recover from.

Glad to hear that you're okay Traci...

Started the day with rain here but it turned into a lovely mild spring day here.

Really glad to hear it was relatively mild, at least compared to what it could have been. Glad you are safe and have all your utilities.

That is good new Traci, Glad to hear it.

Thanks folks! Still early (8AM) but a pretty fall day is emerging. Lots of blue sky and the birds all out playing early. So far this morning I've seen the eagle flying, 3 downy woodpeckers, tons of blue jays and crows screaming.

Well it's raining here today . . . again, and the forecast is for off and on showers for the next few days. Hopefully that's all it'll turn out to be.

My main problem is the humidity, even with the lower temps, it's still very icky.
