When I knitted sweaters, my mother always wound up blocking them, and then sewing them together on her sewing machine. That's one thing I never tried. Sewing regular material is one thing, but sewing sweaters, especially bulky sweaters, wasn't ever something I wanted to try.
I can't knit. That's one thing I've never been able to do. I can crochet and sew... but the only things I can do with a pair of knitting needles id drop stitches and stab someone. LOL!
Sewing on the other hand... this is one from a set of six dinner/kitchen towels I made to replace paper with... these photos were taken during the sewing process for one of the set.
And this was a caplet/over-shawl, and a scarf for a friend, both done via crochet.
It keeps my hands busy when I need to be away from the pc, but can't settle down.
