For anyone that doesn't remember it. Except for the part made of finished hardwoods, the outfit is actually kind of cute....

Too bad that does not come with drink holders. I might see if it had functional drink holders, but still probably will not wear it as it will be hard to get into cars and taxis and such.

some years ago some designer spoofed and that might be the call of the day on this thread SPOOFED a new look: "CHASTITY"
He included chrome and leather and stainless steel custom made modern Chastity Belts for a Fau fashion accessory for the beach no less.
I recall seeing at least one celebrity and modern Hipster Gurrrrrrrl wearing their new bottoms on the beach. Imagine the tan lines they would get with that! Of course it wasn't something you could wear for too long but it could be multitasked and was easy to care for and relatively durable and think if some guy with an attitude got the wrong message which apparently is wont to happen the doors were close to him!

Oddly enough, it wasn't a fashion driven by men, but by women. Apparently, men absolutely hated the crinoline dresses, but women loved them.

I actually always figured that Crinolines were a form of a chastity belt that had some style to them. After all, they did indeed keep men at a Safe Distance. (Which is WHY the guys didn't like them. And why women did.)
