We've been having a little belated pocket of winter here in L.A.
Well, winter as defined in L.A. In any case we've had most of a week of intermittent showers and a bit of chill. Quite welcome, frankly.

Some showers are better than nothing, yes. I hope we all get enough rain. This has been a mild and dry winter here.

Well, we had very strange weather for the first day of Spring yesterday. It reached a high of 77º, which to me seems more like the end of May and/or June, not March!

I have a very long time friend from the 6th grade whose birthday was yesterday, and when we were kids, and she did something her mother didn't particularly like, her mother would always say she was sure it was because she was born on the first day of Spring, in the middle of the worst snow storm they had experienced in about a decade. Now-a-days it surprises me when folks deny there's a climate change going on. ~shakes head!~

Today the weather's back down in the 50s, and it looks like it'll be that way until next weekend, when it's supposed to go back up into the low to mid-60s.

It was warm yesterday, but rainy on and off all day. Today, nice and Sunny...but only in the 40s. I went out, anyway.

They had reported intermittent showers here yesterday as well, but I didn't see any rain until late at night.

The funny thing is, we are expecting snow! But not much of it here, it will quickly turn to rain and wash it away. Still...snow? The froggies are chirping, trees are budding, and the daffodils in my garden have sprouted leaves and some have buds. None open yet, of course. But I have seen crocuses and daffodils in my home city when I visited mom earlier in the week.
