If I end up having to get a smartphone I'll be getting a cover. I'm too big a clutz to not take precautions like that.

The screens on Smart Phones since they started using Gorilla Glass (aluminosilicate glass) are less likely to crack or shatter ... unless you drop a free weight on your cell phone like a coworker recently did.

You can also get rugged smartphones which have been designed to meet military-specified standards for protection against shock, water, dust, extreme temperatures, and vibration. Verizon, Sprint, and AT&T carry rugged smartphones, and I'm sure the other carriers do too.

Yes, and they have Body Gloves that meet those specifications as well. I've never seen one in the store, but I saw them listed at Amazon earlier.

I have the most amazing son on the planet. So last night after I terminated my tablet I went online to TradeMe, an NZ auction site, to look for another the same. I found one, only $50, and asked Shannon to keep an eye on it (he's a member, I'm not) and if it was still there Tuesday I'd give him the money to buy it. He agreed. This morning I checked the listing and sadly it was gone. So that's what I messaged him, gone with a sad face. Almost instantly he replies "yeah, I clicked the buy now " I don't know what I did to deserve him but I'm glad I have him

I like my iPhone and my iPad. Both have screen protectors but they do not have a cracked screen. My LG tablet is useless because of a cracked screen.

Afternoon all. Blowing its tits off here and making me and Souc rock'n'roll sans music. Still toasty warm inside so the weather mostly irrelevant except for an occasional lurch to starboard...sitting down takes care of that. I'm hoping to get some fun time on the computer this arvo...I've almost completely destroyed/rearranged/redesigned/mucked-up the town I was building cos why not. That's the beauty of virtual building, nothing is set in stone The build has done one thing, shown me how many buildings are in my runtime: very, very many but never enough! More I say, MORE!

Up for just a bit then back to sleep for a few more hours. My lower back said my air mattress needed a bit more air and is taking a little while to feel better.
