Sooo ... Monday when I got to work, I had a voicemail from a woman who wants to buy Satira.com.

It's a "small batch dog day care by day and dog friendly events and venue rental space by night." Think dog birthday parties.

Dog Birthday parties?
I'd have had so many questions...
Who arranges those?...The dog or their people?
Is there cake?
Is there alcohol?
Do uninvited dogs crash these events?
Are these adult dog parties?
Are there dog clowns?
What the hell is "small batch"?... That sounds sinister...
Can people attend or is it dogs only?
If your dog is attending, does he or she pay for the gift or do you still have to?
Who wraps that gift?

My dog never got invited to other dog's parties... He did attend a lot of dog poker games, but no parties.

Laughed at self yesterday morning at work.
One of the notices on AFI's website was "Hurricane Harvey Koolaid Burst Shipper Cancelled"
Since my mind tends to be VERY literal I wondered how Koolaid had arranged a shipper for hurricane relief so soon but as Martin might have ordered it I figured I'd better print it out.
The actual message said that damage from Harvey caused Koolaid to have to cancel the shipper. My initial thought was to wonder how damage from Harvey had stopped a Harvey relief shipper from going out. A moment later I laughed and realized the wording of the title had been very poor. It should have been something like "Hurricane Harvey cancels Koolaid Burst Shipper".

BTW McG, good to see you. I was wondering how you fared the other day when Hurricane Jose caused lots of flooding out your way. I couldn't remember if you live down near the coast or not.

Poor Tsuki. She got an antibiotic and a steroid injection today. Took the vet three tries for the antibiotic. My sweet cat had the absolute biggest fit at the vet yet! She hissed, growled, swatted, and was completely uncooperative. She even refused treats! At one point, she managed to get away from the assistant and hid under a cart. I keep a towel in the carrier for the vet to use, but that wasn't even enough. They had to get the leather gloves and a leash to snare her. A thoroughly exhausting experience for Tsuki.

Then because I took too long to get home (we stopped at McDonald's for chicken mcnuggets ... which I shared with her), she was crying and trying to get out of the carrier. But, once home, she crawled back into the carrier and slept for a few hours. It is her safe haven :wink:

@quietrob , unfortunately my husband isn't on holidays he's been doing some contract work since Easter...they keep extending it. So I will be doing stuff around the house, minding grandkids and just doing stuff I would like to do.

Wonder if Outlook and gmail will go together. I probably have too many gmail accounts. I only know how to do one gmail account in a web browser. I know I can use hotmail in outlook but not sure about gmail or yahoo.

Probably should think of a more secure and complicated password for hotmail and renderosity.

Only three days till I go home!!!!! Woohoo!! Went out to her yesterday and found a mess...she had obviously been hit beam on by a big wave/swell and stuff had been tossed about. All cleaned up ready for reboarding! Today is the third fine day in a row and it feels like spring finally. So what does a person do on such a day?...the laundry of course. So nice to be able to line dry it
