One of my neighbor's late husband used to get them all the time, because he blew his nose too hard. I'm convinced I wouldn't have had them if I wasn't on the aspirin regimen.

That's scary Miss B...I've had a couple of kids in my grades who get nose bleeds. One of them ended up getting the inside of their nose cauterized it was so bad!

Actually Pen, the ENT at the hospital performed a procedure that felt like that, though he said he was just placing a tiny little piece of, for lack of a better word, "material" that is just like what the inside of the nasal cavity is made of, and my nasal cavity would "heal" around it. It was his placing it in the proper place that hurt a little, but really healed up perfectly, because this was going on 4 years ago, and I've had absolutely no repercussions since.

Hey ladies! I am in a state of flux at the moment, unable to settle to anything so playing games on my phone to keep me occupied. Only two more sleeps till I bus to Auckland, only four sleeps till I fly to Oz! My excitement level is rising

Woohoo Lorraine!

I am so glad it has finally cooled down. I haven't been able to run my AC for more than about 15 min to a half hour at a time or I get water pouring out of it. Which means ... no AC at night, and it's been hot and humid during the night. So both Tsuki and I have been miserable.

Who needs sleep anyway, right?

You haven't been able to get that fixed?

I'm also thrilled it's cooled down, and the humidity has dropped quite a bit. If the weather stays like this for the rest of this week, and most of September, I'll be very happy.
