Well, I think our long running humidity has finally broken, and they're expecting the rest of this week to have 0-10% humidity, and no thunderstorms until next Monday.

With the humidity down in the 40s, I can handle a couple of days in the low 90s. :D

Yep here on the GC the temps are nice most of the year, that's why it feels colder when it drops more than normal :)

Meanwhile here the temps range so widely (usually single digits or even 0F a few times in the winter and a lot of 100F+ in the summer) that within a few weeks of summer starting people wish it was winter and vice-versa. LOL Comfortable temps are found during a short period in spring and fall in amidst yo-yo ups and downs.

That's great, Miss B! Meanwhile here in Opua it's still a little breezy but nothing like the last few days. We got the news today that our Northland region will be the ONLY region in NZ not to have a severe weather warning this weekend. I feel sorry for everyone else but I do hope they're right about us!

We have a severe weather warning here through Monday. Well, it's an Excessive Heat Watch :p High humidity and high temperatures. It's ONLY supposed to reach 89F today, but it's already 84% humidity. Then it will be high 90F temperatures Friday through Monday. With the humidity, the "real feel" will be in the 100s. Lows will be in the 70s, but I'm not finding that to be cooling ... atall atall!

Hmm ... extended forecast into August is hot and thunderstorms. Temperatures will range from 88F to 94F. Meanwhile, Edinburgh, Scotland, looks to be perfect weather! Oh! As does Lincoln City on the Oregon Coast! Highs don't even reach 70F and lows are a blissful 54-55F. That's even better than Edinburgh!

Now, if I could just afford to buy a place around Lincoln City. I'd be such a happy camper! As long as I didn't have to live in a tent that is ...

Wow, only mid-40s humidity here today, so I don't envy you at all Satira. Our 10-day forecast isn't looking very good either, but not quite as bad as yours. :(

I've had to put in a maintenance request because my AC isn't cooling as well as it should be. So, it's borderline uncomfy (to just plain umcomfy) with this weather.

Afternoon all :)

Hope you get your aircon tweaked toot sweet, Satira, and you enjoy your day, Miss B.

It goes well. Not a fab day, overcast and showers but no wind. No wind is currently all I need to be happy :) Oh, and finding Kindle Australia having a winter sale and getting three books for practically nothing that I've wanted for yonks...that was pretty choice! So Rokket's story now has some competition ;)
