It's been a fine day and cool here in the winterless north.

Good morning. Glad the rain stopped, Rae. Flooding is never good.

Did I say yesterday that it was very windy? Well, compared to during the night it was a light breeze

 

[Terre]

Sounds like you got our winds.

Oh, and we got your rain during the night and this morning. I absolutely HATE having to walk to the gym in a downpour, but I did it.

Luckily it started to lighten up a lot by the time I got there, and it wasn't raining by the time I left to come home.

We've got our rain today as well - finally! Whoot!

My poor plants really needed it. You can water them by hand, but it never does them as good as a nice, steady rain does.

Hi everyone I am awake after sleeping like a log, the poor pup having to wait till noon for her breakfast. Poor Joycie, she knows how useless it is to try and wake me up

I wish I could say I slept like a log. Unfortunately I didn't, and I had to get up early to go to the gym today. I'll probably make up for it tonight. Hopefully.

@rae, the image I saw on Australian tv this morning of the pool sliding down to the beach gives a whole new meaning to beach front property. I hope your weather's improved...

Well the sun's out bright today. I had a full night's well deserved sleep last night, so I'm feeling good.

That's great, Miss B! I'm back on the boat and it's blowing strong from the northeast, it's the edge of the storm that clobbered Australia. Won't get any where near that bad here as the centre has gone deep south and is giving Tasmania a thrashing now. Mother Nature at her tantrum throwing worst.
